TERMS & CONDITIONS – GROOV

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use GROOV, you must have to be 18+ years of age. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. GROOV reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

2. Nature of Platform & User Roles

GROOV is a technology platform that enables the discovery, hosting, and registration of social events. GROOV does not own, organize, or control events unless explicitly stated; Hosts and Organizers are solely responsible for event content, safety, and legal compliance.

• Guests/Attendees must follow all event rules and venue guidelines.
• Hosts/Organizers are accountable for event accuracy, meeting minimum guest requirements, and maintaining platform integrity.

3. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways; GROOV does not store sensitive card or UPI credentials. Platform service fees, taxes, and convenience charges may apply and are generally non-refundable. All cancellations and refunds are strictly governed by the GROOV Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. By using the platform, you acknowledge the specific timelines, penalties, and security deposit requirements outlined in that policy.

4. User Conduct & Content

Users agree not to violate any laws, harass others, post offensive content, or circumvent platform fees. Violation of these standards may result in immediate account termination. All platform branding, logos, and software are the intellectual property of GROOV. While you retain rights to your user-generated content, you grant GROOV permission to display it for operational or promotional purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability & Risk Disclaimer

Attendance at events is at your own risk. GROOV is not responsible for event quality, personal injury, property damage, or the actions of third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GROOV's total liability is limited to the platform fees paid for the specific transaction in question.

You agree to indemnify and hold GROOV harmless from any claims or losses arising from your use of the platform or breach of these Terms.

6. Termination & Modifications

GROOV may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraudulent activity, or excessive cancellations. Certain reinstatements may require a fee. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; updated versions will be posted on the Platform and become effective immediately. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lucknow, India.
