USER SAFETY, CONDUCT & CONSENT AGREEMENT
Last Updated: December 20, 2025
This User Safety, Conduct & Consent Agreement (“Safety Terms”) is a legally binding agreement between you (referred to as “User,” “Guest,” “Host,” or “Organizer”) and GROOV (referred to as the “Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Safety Terms govern personal safety, acceptable behavior, consent, and legal compliance for all private house parties, villa gatherings, venue-based events, and social experiences that are accessed, listed, hosted, or attended through the GROOV Platform.
By clicking “I Agree & Continue,” you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to be bound by these Safety Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue registration and may not access or attend any GROOV-facilitated event.
1. Nature of the Platform & Assumption of Risk
GROOV is a technology-enabled discovery and registration platform that facilitates social interactions between individuals. You acknowledge that while GROOV conducts identity and background verification to a reasonable extent, participants at events may still be strangers to one another.
By choosing to attend, host, or organize an event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with private or third-party social gatherings. These risks include, but are not limited to, interpersonal interactions, behavior of other attendees, venue conditions, and unforeseen incidents.
You further acknowledge that GROOV does not own, operate, manage, supervise, or physically control any house, villa, or venue listed on the Platform. Responsibility for venue safety, legal compliance, crowd management, and physical security rests solely with the Host or Organizer.
2. Absolute Zero-Tolerance Policy: Alcohol, Drugs & Illegal Substances
GROOV enforces a strict and absolute zero-tolerance policy to ensure the safety of all users.
The possession, consumption, distribution, sale, or facilitation of the following is strictly prohibited at any GROOV-facilitated event, without exception:
- Alcohol of any kind
- Narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or banned substances
- Recreational or illegal drugs under the NDPS Act or any applicable Indian law
- Smoking, vaping, or any form of substance misuse
- Weapons, firearms, sharp objects, explosives, or hazardous materials
There are no exceptions to this rule—whether substances are personal, shared, free, paid, or otherwise permitted by a Host.
Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the event, permanent account suspension without refund, disclosure of user information to law enforcement, and initiation or cooperation in legal proceedings, as required by law.
3. Gender Safety & Zero-Tolerance Conduct Policy
GROOV places the highest priority on the safety, dignity, and comfort of female attendees and maintains a zero-tolerance stance toward harassment or misconduct.
All male users are bound by a strict Zero-Tolerance Code of Conduct. You explicitly agree that you will never engage in any form of non-consensual physical contact, verbal harassment, inappropriate remarks, staring, intimidation, coercion, threatening behavior, or any act that causes discomfort, fear, or distress to another attendee.
Any violation of this policy, as determined at GROOV’s sole discretion, will result in an immediate and permanent account ban, forfeiture of any payments, and legal action or cooperation with authorities, where applicable.
4. Host & Organizer Safety Obligations
By listing or hosting an event on GROOV, Hosts and Organizers affirm that the venue is safe, lawful, and suitable for the number of registered guests. Hosts further confirm that the venue is free from alcohol, drugs, and prohibited substances.
Hosts and Organizers are required to actively monitor guest behavior and must immediately report any safety breach, harassment, possession of prohibited substances, or illegal activity to GROOV. Failure to comply with these obligations may result in permanent delisting, account termination, and legal liability.
5. Incident Reporting, Enforcement & Authority
GROOV reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account immediately and without prior notice in the event of a safety violation or credible report of misconduct.
In cases involving serious safety concerns, illegal activity, or substance violations, GROOV may share identity details, verification documents, IP logs, and communication records with law enforcement authorities, as required by law.
Users found in violation of these Safety Terms will be permanently blacklisted, with no right to appeal or reinstatement.
6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your actions, conduct, and any legal consequences arising from your participation in GROOV-facilitated events.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GROOV, its founders, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, penalties, raids, losses, or legal actions arising out of your behavior, violation of these Safety Terms, substance-related offenses, or Host negligence.
7. Mandatory Consent & Final Affirmation
By clicking “I Agree & Continue,” you explicitly confirm and acknowledge that:
- You understand that you may interact with individuals who are strangers
- You accept full responsibility for your conduct and safety
- You acknowledge that alcohol, drugs, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited
- You consent to GROOV’s authority to ban users and report violations
- You agree that GROOV is not liable beyond its role as a facilitating platform
MANDATORY USER ACKNOWLEDGMENT
- I confirm that I will not carry, consume, distribute, or allow any alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances at any GROOV event.
- I understand that any harassment, misconduct, or violation will result in a permanent ban and legal action.
- I voluntarily agree to continue my registration and participation under these Safety Terms.
